Yitzhak Klepter Tribute Show

Yitzhak Klepter

The Guitar Genius and the Soul of Israeli Rock

This is a show that takes us back to the roots of Israeli music – to the unique, brave, and delicate sound of Yitzhak Klepter, one of the greatest creators and guitarists the country has ever known.

Klepter was much more than a musician: he was the one who defined a sound, who etched melodies onto the hearts of an entire generation, and who left behind a treasure of songs that have long since become part of the national landscape. "Ned Ned," "Kasuf," "Shir Ahuvat HaSapan," "Hi Shalva," "Ahavat Poalei HaBinyan," "Blues LeAmos," "Ein Derech Hazara" — each of these songs is a small window into the Israel we knew, the people we were, and the stories we grew up on.

Tozeret Haaretz brings a spectacular and moving tribute show to the stage, illuminating Klepter's work exactly as it was — pure, honest, full of emotion and beauty. It is an evening that touches the heart, reminding us how music can be simple and deep at the same time, and how much influence one person with one guitar can have.

Klepter was a special man who didn't chase the stage, but let the music speak for him — and it spoke, and still speaks, with an unparalleled power.

This is exactly the moment to celebrate this legacy. To be moved, to sing, to remember, and to be together.

An evening of guitars, soul, and stories from our collective Israeli soundtrack.

This show was produced in collaboration with the SHAZAR band as part of the Rainbow Association, which leads social and cultural events in Amsterdam.
