Back to the Nineties

Leading artists of the 90s in Israel

Israeli 90s Rock Show – A Nostalgic Experience for the Israeli Community in the Netherlands

Going back to the 90s – the decade when Israel danced, shouted, dreamed, and fell in love. Our show brings to the stage the soundtrack we grew up on: Fortis, Aviv Geffen, Eifa HaYeled, Dr. Kasper's Rabbit Show, Monica Sex, Zikney Tzfat, Rockfour, Knesiyat HaSekhel, and more.

This is much more than a cover show – it's a journey through time. Every song takes you back to a different moment, a different story, to the Israel of old: nights in the army, festivals, first loves, parties, shows, confessions, the chaos, and the freedom.

On stage, the songs that defined an entire generation come back to life with arrangements faithful to the original, but with a live and kicking energy that feels closer than ever. The Israeli audience in the Netherlands will feel at home from the first moment – sing-alongs, smiles, flags waving in the heart, and the feeling that we are all 17 again.

"Or HaYareach" (Moonlight) tells a story of escapism — the desire to escape the chaos of reality to a quiet, poetic, almost dreamlike place. If you want to feel a moment of breath, inner peace, and perhaps romance in this intensive era.

Or perhaps "Halaliot" (Spaceships), through which we tell the feeling of detachment, of being "not from here." The song talks about escaping to another world, to fantasy, to space — instead of dealing with the complex Israeli reality, and perhaps even the current reality.

And how can we forget "Al HaRitzpa" (On the Floor), which speaks of total release, a welcome loss of control, and the search for authenticity within chaos.

Or "Tir'u Oti" (Look at Me), which deals with the need to truly be seen, beyond the masks - about growing up, about identity, and about the desire to leave a mark on the world. Simple, revealing, and as 90s as it gets.

So come and experience the Israel of the 90s like you haven't in years – music, memories, and a great love for our roots.
